CIVIC TRUST AWARDS

Burntwood School wins top architecture award

The popular girls’ school in Burntwood Lane, which is cleaned by Enterprise, has been presented with a prized Civic Trust Award after it was extensively remodelled and rebuilt last year as part of a £40m investment in education in the London Borough of Wandworth. The new-look campus now boasts four brand new teaching blocks, a new performing arts centre and a new sports hall. An IT learning centre and new state-of-the-art science laboratories reinforce its reputation as a centre of excellence for science. Civic Trust Awards are given to projects that demonstrate high quality architecture or design, have demonstrated sustainability, are accessible to all users and have made a positive cultural, social or economic contribution to the local community.

Prevent Training

Since July, some of our customers have been required by law to prevent young people from being drawn into terrorism. We believe that in support of our customers Enterprise Managers and Site Supervisors should be aware of the radicalisation of children. Our new e-training awareness will from 2016 form a mandatory part of each manager's training and development.
